“Your body is where your power lies”. Hiding your body, your vessel is akin to concealing your true self. It's not about revealing skin, but rather understanding the motivations behind hiding areas of yourself and who you are. Stepping in front of the camera is both a confronting and a healing experience.

Women are increasingly curious about embracing authenticity and femininity, and photography serves as one of many paths to embrace this journey of self-discovery and acceptance. To honour and celebrate the beautiful version of yourself in this present moment.

Who this is for: This is my deeper, more comprehensive experience. Not only for beautiful photos but for an elevated experience that empowers you at a deeper level. We focus on transformation, inner growth with an outer expression. Offering confidence-building, and capturing your essence in a meaningful way. 
We begin with a personalised form to set your intentions, followed by a custom tarot reading to deepen self-awareness. During the photoshoot we co-create, blending natural light, movement, and your unique femininity. Through curated poses and environments, we capture the essence of your beauty and liberation.

This offering is for those seeking a shorter, more focused experience—a 'stepping stone' for anyone new to being in front of the camera.


 As part of your exchange, this is also about sharing your voice.

At the end of your session, you'll have the opportunity to record a personal reflection—an invitation to express your journey, growth, and self-discovery. Your voice has power, and by sharing your story, you inspire other women to embrace vulnerability and step confidently into the lens.
By participating, you’re not only receiving a beautiful photography experience but also contributing to a movement of self-celebration and connection. The exchange for this offering includes sharing your story—your voice recording will be shared alongside your chosen images. This sharing allows other women to witness, feel resonance, and find encouragement in their own journeys.
With only 3 spots available each month, bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis. (I advertise these on my Instagram Stories at the beginning of each month).

  • What inspired you to do this shoot?

    “I felt lost post breakup and having two young babies, constantly giving myself to everyone else and not focusing on me. I needed to be seen again, not just by others. But by myself 🤍”

  • In what ways has your relationship with your body evolved over time?

    “Shadow work journaling! We often don’t articulate moments where we’ve gained beliefs about ourselves from, and I find that important to do to get to a point of self-embrace. Any negative belief you have of yourself comes from the outside, not from you, so try to find as many moments where someone made a negative comment about your body that you internalised and still carry. It’s deep, you may have a wave of big emotions in the process, but it’ll get you in a state of coming home that no fad-diet, superfood, or trending fitness plan will ever give you.”

    “I’ve been a long-time admirer of Mae’s photography, and earlier this year, I began the journey of no longer feeling ashamed of my interests by attending her tarot classes. The experience of connecting with others in those classes was incredible, and I deeply resonate with Mae’s intuition and insights. I knew that an empowerment shoot with her would be the perfect next step in embracing and expressing my true self.”

  • What advice would you give to other women on this journey?

    I would say wherever you are in your journey, you will never be this version of you again. It is such a beautiful opportunity to experience, honour and reflect on where you are at, to honour your feminine side, and explore different sides of you that you may not know exists. To surrender to any vulnerability around it as you'll walk away from this experience feeling empowered and proud for giving it a go.

    “The best part of my shoot was the realisation that I didn’t actually look clunky and awkward through Mae’s lens. I squealed, jumped and teared up in the kitchen when the previews came through and shattered my negative self beliefs in seconds.”

    Release social or family perceptions. Allow yourself time to learn who you are. Allow it, flow with it & don’t be afraid to come home to you. It’s a journey, but it’s worth it & the greatest gift you’ll give yourself.

    "It was extremely powerful to claim my space in the world, especially as a woman, letting go of shame and judgment while connecting with the elements. It helped me harness the power that lives inside of me while embracing my softness and femininity."

    “It allowed me to showcase my femininity and the whimsical dancer that lives inside of me. And realise that femininity doesn't have to mean dainty, small, meek, quiet. Femininity is power and beauty and inner strength.”

    “It was so exciting having Mae whisk out an array of gorgeous outfits for me! Her choices made me feel so beautiful and feminine, it also made the experience feel very special.  Seeing her excitement of what she was capturing was very encouraging while being in front of the lens. I loved being guided with how to move too, I'm usually quite awkward in front of the camera so appreciated the direction Mae gave.”

  • In what ways has your relationship with your body evolved over time?

    “There have been some significant moments throughout my life that were pivotal for the relationship I had with my body. Awareness and self love have been radical tools to get my power back. That’s why I decided to stand in front of a camera and look at my body in a different way, from a different perspective. To be aware of my own body, to love it and accept it more often. To talk to me more lovingly and kindly. To remind me of my natural energy. To step out of the patriarchal world and surrender to the power of nature, of Mother Earth. “

    "I've started on that journey. The deeper I go, the more I realise there is to uncover. An eternal excavation of the parts no longer serving me."

  • What was the intention behind your shoot?

    "Doing this shoot was about capturing the sacred time I'm currently in, celebrating my body evolving to welcome in a new life. I had no expectation of what would come from the shoot, trusting the journey to unfold naturally with Mae's guidance and creative eye she has. I had admired her work from afar of how she captured women so beautifully so was excited to have this experience myself. I think it's an experience all women need to have!"

  • Share a recent lesson learnt on your journey back to self:

    “On my journey back to self I have recently learnt about giving myself time and allowing healing. I always find that I feel under pressure to “roll with the punches” and to pick myself up. And whilst that’s true, allowing time to process and return back has been an integral part of healing, growing and returning back to self.”

  • When you're in front of the camera, how do you feel as a woman expressing herself?

    "I used to find photoshoots stressful and daunting, but now they’re a fun way to express my creativity, style, and connect with nature. I struggled with being photographed, and my perfectionism would often get in the way. Meeting Maegan changed everything. She’s been an incredible support on my journey as a Sound Therapist and Reiki Master, taking my photos from day one. With her, I feel completely at ease, knowing I’m not judged if I get picky about how I look. Maegan also encourages me to relax, which is so important, and she understands my angles and how to highlight my body shape. She truly has a natural talent for it."
